Cornish Pasty Week

Cornish Pasty Week starts today, Sunday 25th February, through 3rd March.
The perfect hand warmer to help you through the cold weather!
Pictured are the Cheese and Onion and the gluten free Cornish Steak Pasties (individually wrapped to ensure GF and available to pre-order). Other fillings are available – including a vegan pasty.

Real Bread Week

Starting today through 4th March it is the 10th Anniversary of Real Bread Week.

At Joe’s we have plenty to choose from to help you celebrate and experience Real Bread.

As defined by the Real Bread Campaign “Real Bread is that made without the use of processing aids or any other artificial additives.”

We like Real Bread

Two New Sourdough Breads

Whenever possible we like to accommodate our customers’ requests and we are happy to now be able to offer you…
Wholemeal Sourdough (with a sunflower seed dressing),
and Fruited Sourdough (with raisins, sultanas and fresh orange zest).

Drawstring Bags

At Joe’s Bakery we are passionate about the environment, reducing waste, and promoting environmental sustainability.
The main use of plastic bags is for putting sliced bread in. Some customers requested that we use paper bags and, additionally, we came up with these –
re-usable drawstring bags – made with 100% natural cotton (not bleached or dyed) – they also help to keep crusty bread for longer.

Chocolate Almond Cookie – NEW!

One of our new products – the Chocolate Almond Cookie – is studded with roasted almonds, and is suitable for vegetarians.

Apparently it is ‘best eaten on day of purchase or store in a sealed container and eat within 2 days’.

Store?! Like that’s going to happen!

Shrove Tuesday 13th February

This Tuesday is Shrove Tuesday – pancakes will be available throughout the day fresh off the griddle.
